I am happy to tell you all that things are moving along with my first book release. I will admit to feeling some frustration along the way. I had no idea how long and involved the process is. However, sometimes when we experience frustration along the way when things work out the triumph is even sweeter. I am thrilled to tell you all that we have officially settled on a title, and cover.
We have finally come to the ever exciting moment where I see my name on the cover of a book!
The book will be will be, The Powers of Influence. I can’t even begin to tell you how great this title is. It fits so many elements of this story. It also fits on a personal level, because all of you are a powerful part of my life, and most of you Influence the characters I create in different ways. However, I cannot tell you any more than that, because it would spoil all the surprises for you when you read the book. I promise you will be surprised with the excitement, the love story, and the jump starting twists in this book series.
I cannot wait for you to all get to know the characters so near and dear to my heart now. That wait is almost over. The publishing date is moving closer and it looks like mid to late October will be our time. It is an excellent time for this release for many reasons, and I am eager to hold that bound book in my hands, as I am sure all of you are too.
It has taken a great many lengths and trials achieve my dream, and I can barely wait to share that dream with all of you who have supported and Influenced me. I have come to learn a great many things about publishing over these last months, but the one lesson stands out the most is the lesson of perseverance. I have learned that if something is important you should never give up on it. You may find yourself facing struggles and “bumps in the road,” but those bumps will seem small when you see the fruit of your labors. I cannot tell you how awesome it feels to be able to reach out and touch my long-awaited dream of having a published book. I hope all of you will be able to see your dreams become reality.
As a final note I will leave you all with this wonderful quote.
“Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe.” ~Gail Devers~
Once again, thanks to all of you for your love and support. C.B. Haight
